About Us

We're Adrian's Shoes & Repair, and we've been a premier shoe store in Bloomington, IL, since 1952. We're a full-service shoe store offering shoes, sandals, boots, arch analysis, shoe cleaning, and much more. We're proud to feature a wide range of repair services, including shoe repair, leather repair, purse repair, belt repair, orthotic recovering, shoe re-heeling and resoling, and more. I went into Adrian's for the first time a few days ago with my 86-year-old grandma to replace her worn-out Keds with a more orthopedic, supportive shoe. We were immediately helped by one friendly, knowledgeable employee who measured her and began gathering options to try on. It was refreshing to see such a young employee so patient, caring and affable - especially with a senior! She was later joined by another employee who seemed to know every brand and which was good for what, etc. She was very gentle and patient with helping my grandma try on each shoe. Her POV on fit and features was much appreciated (e.g., she called out that the larger pull/tab on the back of one shoe would make it very easy to slide on, she offered to swap out non-stretch laces with stretch ones). It's beyond refreshing to still see this kind of customer service + quality product + knowledgeable staff. I HIGHLY recommend Adrian's! They also have a pretty great and well stocked sale room, for the bargain shoppers. :)

I am over the moon with the exceptionally fine service I received from Adrian's. The staff was so helpful right away -- I had 2 pairs of favorite Naot shoes in otherwise great shape, but the soles were literally disintegrating. They said they could do the resoling, ordered the exact ones from Naot, and when they came in they contacted me and I sent the shoes. They came back JUST PERFECT! Such a terrific job, and their communication was also top notch. Heather and everyone I spoke with there were so pleasant. I live in the Chicago area, found them online, so I never was there in person, but all our exchanges were wonderful. What service! Rare today!! I wish I were closer to them!!! This place is amazing! I am a partial foot amputee, so it is very difficult to find shoes that fit my prosthetic. I've been to several different shoe stores who've tried to assist me with my problem but was not successful. I was pointed towards Adrians and I'm very grateful for the recommendation.
